Marans? What am I?!

Are these Marans? A friend bought eggs at auction that were sold as Marans - I am are trying to figure out if these are purebreds and/or what color/variety.

I put a link beneath the pictures (which showed up for me). I wonder if I did it wrong? I thought I had to copy the image location and then post that in the img tags and that should take care of it.

The black chick could be a black or copper black Marans I suppose...I can't really tell with young chicks, though. The second chick looks like an Easter Egger to me, with the greenish legs?? Anyone else? Is the first link/pic supposed to be a pic of the actual eggs, because that's what I'd really like to see--but that still isn't working for me, even after the previous poster re-posted your links.
