The little one that was shrink wrapped has made it through the night and put her back in with the others, just as 2 others started to zip. She didn't fluf up like I had hoped, so later today she will get a bath before moving them to the brooder.

2 more hatched very early this morning, so now there are 6 chicks and 2 more pippes.

So it’s day 22. I’ve left the unhatched eggs on lockdown. Since my 7 yesterday morning I’ve not even had a pip. I’m super thankful for the 7 that hatched but a bit disappointed that 15 are sitting there with not much encouragement of hatching. 12 of those eggs I bought and not one of the purchased eggs have pipped. These eggs were not shipped. I got them from a guy next county over. He ran an ad in the MS Market Bulletin for hatching eggs. Any suggestions on how long I should wait?
