Just starting my hatching machine... I will be moving the eggs into lockdown tonight. A little early, but I have to work tomorrow... better early than too late. :jumpy

I think these are the most beautiful incubators I've ever seen 😍

Those are beautiful!!! How are they to clean?

I checked on my eggs just now and I have 5/10 Hedemora out with one more pipping and 1/6 55 Flowery out with another one pipping! Fingers crossed we keep em coming.
Heres a cute little photo of a chick trying to be an egg in the carton- someone got their sibling covered in junk !

Thank you 🥰
They clean up easily. First I vaccum all the egg shells and dust out. Then wipe it down. I have a desinfectant solution that I use once all the hatches are done. Also I can take the top off and clean in there. It's unbelievable how much dust gets in up top where the fan etc is located at!

I can never believe the little feather particles that come off during hatch!! They are everywhere in the incubator but then I never seem them in the brooder!

Just got my three eggs into lockdown!
Can't wait to see what hatches from my mixed flock.
I think it'll be an appenzeller/oprington cross and two full buff orpingtons but there could be rhode island red, amberlink, or black sex link in there too.
