March Hatch A Long... anyone with me??

Precious is still on the nest. ( Day 20) We have peeps loud and strong.

We are so excited. Maybe will be able to see something by the time church is over. Pictures to follow. We are looking for the camera.

i have another that looks alot like him under my silkie in the barn and i'm not sure what the other look like yet....as soon as i can i will have pics of them.
it is sooo cold here, i don't want to make mamma mad

Candled last night with my new really bright LED flashlight I bought at Lowe's for $25.

We have these left:

10/12 Pumpkin Hulsey - shipped eggs bought on Ebay
3/6 White Leghorn - Feb BYC swap
16/36 FBCM - given to me from a friend with a broken bator
5/5 bantam blue Cochin - our eggs
7/9 Speckled Sussex - our eggs
2/9 LF Brahma - our eggs

43 eggs in left to hatch on 3/12

9 out of 13 out and one more visible pip! Day 21 is over in 15 minutes.

I found out what shrink-wrapped meant today.

I was hatching is 2 different bators and my one runs unusually dry, but 3 chicks came out fine. The last one in that bator was peeping and rocking like mad, but never came out. I reached in to check on it, thinking it might have died and saw that it was fully zipped underneath where I could see and it was like glued in there. I ran to the shower and grabbed a Q-tip and worked on the poor thing. It came out eventually and is so far okay!!

I really just thought shrink wrapped was overexaggerated, but it is REALLY bad when it does happen. Poor thing would have never made it out.
