March Hatch-A-Long.( How is it gettting here so quick ? LOL )

Cleared a path to the door of the chicken house, made sure they had water and feed this evening. They didn't offer to go out, our little dog made his trip out since there was a path. Will be glad tho have better weather later this week for them. On the bright side for today I have a new great grandson born this evening

Question!! Anyone know if the old LG auto turner will fit in the genesis 1588?? Specs on Genesis says its 18 1/2" squared and my LG is 16 1/4" squared..... I really want a genesis, but don't need a 2nd turner, cause I would just use my LG as a hatcher.

Still no action at our house. I fear they may have perished. I will be candling them to check, probably tomorrow. I'm going back to being scientific about hatching. Had gotten a little relaxed thinking I knew what I was doing and it's resulted in some poor hatch rates. Got a slew of eggs lined up to in on Thursday. I'll be relocating the bator to a more secure area (also I think the DD, though he was trying to help, picked a bad spot for it - too close to a window and I think the room temp fluctuates too much. Not to mention that there is risk of unintended human interaction -ie. someone unplugging it to charge their phone). I think I'm gonna go back to putting them in my office room. It's a bit cooler ambient temp in there, but there are few drafts and it's out of the way so no one will bother it. Bumming about this hatch though - would have been really cool to have fluffy butts to cheer up these last few cold winter weeks.
