u are fine hun i still only have that one and its just starting to zip and no other pips here some rocking here and there but my due date is tomarrow give them time hun it takes a bitStill only one chick out of 22 eggs.
Today is day 21.
The one chick hatched 14 hours ago.
At least 3 of the eggs have been pipped for over 12 hours now and no zipping.
Tell me to stop freaking out please. The kids are getting inpatient as well!
Nope, they dont drown. All you need to see is that the egg floats and wiggles on its own. then back into the incubator. You should be able to tell in a matter of seconds if there is a baby kicking around inside the egg. I think off it as a baby splashing in a tub. Im sure some moisture gets in but the air sac works like a PFD so maybe I should add "Dont just leave your babies in the bath unattended."Doesn't the water get in through the egg pores and drown them?
Ok Book stop freaking out. They will be fine. They've made it this far. If you feel you must do something just to do something make sure to keep the humidity up to keep those shells from gettin too tough or sticky.Still only one chick out of 22 eggs.

Dear Book : Stop freaking out![]()
Because I am freaking out.
1 hatched yesterday.2 egg left.thought they were dead.
Did the unforgivable and listened with a stethascope yesterday....no sound, no movement.
Have been having terrific problems with humidity.believed they were toast for sure.
Did the unthinkable awhile ago.wrapping the egg in a wet warm wash cloth.
They both chirped at me.............Now have one pip.
Now fearing I messed them up checking.grrrrrrrrrrr
The one that hatched yesterday took forever.........pipped in the sometime during the night, not much happening by dinner,
checked later and the little bugger was running around the incubator..........
Good Luck
