I am going to just leave her in there for now. I think she is okay. She is not bleeding anymore. She still has a bit of it on her bum., but she is away from the other chicks. Maybe I will get another chick hatching tonight?!

Help! What do I do?! My chick just hatched and this is sticking out-


What is it and what should I do? I hope is is not its intestines.

from this photo this looks pretty 'normal'- I can see a small protrusion, but does not look like anything to be concerned about.

OMG, I can't take it... mine are in lockdown. I walk to the incubator about every 30 minutes and they are not due to hatch for 2 more days... UGH the waiting. I am taking Tue - Fri next week off to enjoy them - oh, and work in the garden.

Three have hatched, one is dragging around what I think is a dried up yolk sac? One looks great. And the other has a lot of black on both feet. I will try to get a pic to show the one with the black feet.
