The brown chipmunk-looking ones look like Ameraucanas.

x2Looks like one to me
Looks like a crack/pip to me too!
LOL well you sound like me! I am wanting some duds so I can have room for the call duck eggs from Lisa! I candeled last night, but still too early to tell on most of them. Maybe a few more days? I did toss 1 polish or sultan egg, it was a quiter but the others look really good!Update on the eggs in my incubator... I would like to candle them all and know for sure! They're pretty much standing up in my Brinsea Mini Advance to make room for all of them. I've been having to hand turn them since there's more than 7. It would be so nice to candle them and take out the duds. I did candle a couple of them yesterday, & couldn't find any questionable ones. The few I candled all looked good, as much as I could tell. These eggs are much harder to see into. The EE shells are quite thick, but I was able to see into those better than our barred rock eggs since those are quite dark. I checked 2 EE & 2 BR and all looked to be developing. Why am I treating that like it's a bad thing? What am I going to do if they all continue to grow? I actually need a few duds so I can put my auto-turner back in please. Oh, and the eggs that need to quit, let them be the males too. Is that too much to ask?![]()
