What a storm that was!!! Wow. so glad we were winding down by the time it hit. We had so many folks come out and I think every one of them stopped by to say thanks for throwing another top notch Chicken Party!! We had a fabulous bluegrass band who, I think, made the whole event. Lot 12 from Berkeley Springs hooked us up with some good eats and River City came out to show their support too. I got to see so many old friends and met so many new ones. I was so nervous drawing the name for the coop giveaway.. Thanks, Braxton, for doing the honors. Patti Duke (our winner) cried when she won and I cried with her. ..such a great lady and so deserving. I sold out of every hen, turkey and quail I had.. .and so did many others. One person made $1800 at the swap today!! WOW!! you go! I was gifted a pair of pied peas as a thank you for hosting the event again this Fall. He heard me saying that I was hunting for them at the testing clinic and surprised me this morning! ... I am in peafowl heaven right now with them and my new spalding male from Kat. I also came home with a sebastapol gander named, "Marco" who follows me around the yard

and a pair of California Valley Quail.

We're doing it all again the first weekend of November at the Frederick Co. Fairgrounds with the MD poultry fancier's fall show... stay tuned.

well my son and mother are still living up there so I will most likely come up to a few here and there when ever I have extras .
If anyone wants to order anything just shot me a email and i wil see what i can do.
right now we are kinda low on everything but the japs and oe & ee's the birchen(The most) and jgs had a hard hit we had a stra dog attac that killed half my young jgs and my only other marans pullet so I only have a pair for now. lus we wil be rebuilding our flocks. Adding more blue jgs,birchen marans and buff wyandottes for sureand getting the wishard bronze turkeys back.
Im Hoping erin will have eggs for me or poults from my old breeders.
Oh call we have alot of too
Buffs(trio) ,khakis(trio),blk magpies(pair),chocolates(quad)blue fawn(pair ),pastels(trio)
I do have a extra Blue fawn I would say is a drake for sale.
