Debi revolution and advantage are the only two that are safe to use on rabbits. That is what my exotics vet told me and my research found. That is why I have used advantage on mine for quite awhile now.

Ivomec is good for worms not fleas.

I actually contacted 2 different vets in regards to the fleas. and that is what I was told to use. I have no idea what kind of Angora he is because he was found as a stray. I was hoping you would know

Brushing... well it is coming along... I brushed him for almost 1/2 hour today and got about 1/4 of a grocery bag full off of him, and it doesn't look like I did much.... I am sure it will all come off eventually he started getting upset with me, so I stopped figure we will go back at it a little bit more tonight and a few more times over the weekend. Hopefully he'll be 98% done by then... the good news is I found no live fleas today

It's kind of hard to tell in that pic because he is clipped all over the place. French have clean ears, faces and feet. English have hair everywhere, Giants have ear tufts, so do Satins. Germans I am not familiar with.

I think he is a french.. this is what I found on the National Angora Rabbit Breeders Club... He most closely fits the description of the french...

The French Angora does not have any wool furnishings on its head, face, ears, or front feet. The ears may
be plain or tufted, with the tufting restricted to the tips of the ears.
The head should be oval shaped and
balanced with the size and shape of the body. The head also has some side trimmings. A profile view of
the French Angora will give the appearance of an oval shape. In viewing down on the animal it should
present an oblong shape.
The wool on the French Angora will have an abundance of guard hair that should protrude above the
underwool. There should be a good balance of guard hair and underwool with the underwool being heavily
crimped. The wool should be full of life, strong, and fall free.
The junior buck and doe are not to weigh over 7 ½ pounds with a minimum weight of 3 ¾ pounds. The
senior buck and doe may weigh from 7 ½ pounds to 10 ½ pounds. The ideal weigh is 8 ½ pounds.
In judging the French Angoras the majority of the points are based on the wool, which includes density,
texture, and length. The points for ‘General Type’ include the body type, head, ears, eyes, feet, legs and
tail.
Additional information may be found in the ARBA Standard of Perfection.

I have French Angoras. Sometimes they get mats on their bellies and behind the ears. If it is tight and close to the skin I use sharp pointy craft scissors to nip into the mat. Then I use a small doggy grooming comb to gently pick at it. Occasionaly I need to cut it out... but careful not to cut the skin. Angoras need regular grooming to remove loose wool and keep it from matting. They also molt (blow) their wool about every 3 months.
I REALLY enjoy this breed. I currently have 10 of them.

Q: I have 11 bunnies we got with a pair of rabbits we purchased. We had to treat mom for severe ear mites and fur mites babies ears were treated with olive oil as well seperated from mom when they started eating and drinking on their own they are now 4 to 5 weeks old and doing well except for one problem ... apparently their potty area got stopped up and now they have potty stains on their backs, feet, and hind quarters. Skin looks good appetites are good and poo looks normal . Whats the best way to clean them up. Mom has also improved greatly. Any one wirh grooming advice?

Dawn dish detergent works AMAZING!! People use it on the animals that are saved from oil spills! It also helps kill fleas! (No joke!)
