I was going to add it but my daughter got sick and next thing I knew I had babies.
Looks like babies are popping out all over! Day 19 for my Broody girl. No peeps that I could hear. I'll listen again tomorrow. Waiting and not touching is so hard!
Bahaha you crack me up!
I have so many hens that want to go broody... trade ya.
I think that's great. I have a little one too, but he is too young to really comprehend anything yet. I love the idea of exposing kids to the circle of life from an early age.
16 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte eggs moved to the hatcher
2 were questionable but I left them in!
NW INDIANA lol I got these eggs from an auction on eBay fingers crossed I set 9 under my broody hen but she's a first time brooder and accidentally squashed an egg today luckily I just put them under her last night she did fine with my flocks eggs wonder if these are extra fragile?
Its amazing how young they can pick stuff up.
he loves the chickens, and is scared of the turkeys. we have one super sweet, friendly hen who is a Salmon Faverolles. she allows him to carry and pet her, it's the cutest thing
I have 5 kids ranging from 15 down to 7 and they all are involved in our "homestead " or "self sufficient " life style. Tomorrow as we know today is not a promise so they need to know how to feed their families.
