Oh wow how fun!oh hi! I set 77 and today is Day 10. I cleared out some bloodrings and non-starters to leave me with 69 all looking good! These are all Anconas from my own flock. They should be ready around June 2-3 or so![]()
Hello everyone! I hope y'all don't mind if I jump in on this thread too, I know it is kind of late. I am new here at BYC and am plan to set my first duck eggs tomorrow morning - 24 assorted Call eggs that I bought on eBay. I just want to thank everyone for all the good information posted here. I unknowingly had my still air incubator set too cool at 99.5*, but that's about to change. I do have a question about the humidity though. I have read that it should be anywhere from 55% up to 75% for incubation. Can anyone who has hatched Calls tell me what humidity they would recommend for incubation and hatching? Thanks so much!
I'm just glad yours are a bit ahead of mine, I do patience REALLY poorly...!Yay, toadbriar - wow, you have a good number! You'll have a nice rainbow of babies! Can't wait to see them!![]()
Candling my eggs tomorrow at the halfway point - I'll be sure to let y'all how they're doing.![]()

I am really bad at candling and dont trust my judgement at all unless they are absolutely clear. This is my second batch of eggs to hatch ever (first was just chickens) so my skill set is lacking for sure!
