*Update*

just woke up about an hour ago to find a fourth pip, and I think one is zipping.

In this picture you can see all four pips:

And a pic of the proud (and protective) momma:

I'm exited, this is the third time one of my ducks has gone broody, but it's the first time I'm actually home to watch them hatch.

YAY! I'm even more excited now! :ya I have a question though. I know that BSL come from a RIR rooster and a barred rock type hen. These eggs come from a Domonique rooster, and RIR hens. Are they still BSL, or are they just a mix?
. No sorry they won't be sex linked the hen only gives one color gene to her off spring and the roo contributes two in order for the sex linking you would néed two of the gold alies from the roo to bring out a color sexable chick sorry,,, you were close though

Whataya kknow? theres 3 little peepers in the coop now

I couldn't hope for better than a 50% hatch rate on 1st time for both mama and granny, but then again....

That is so awesome! What a great Momma! The more I see of them, the more enamored I am getting with ducks. I just don't know what I would do with them once I had them :) Congrats on the pips, hope everything goes well.

Actually, thats really relieving, as they all have a white dot on their heads, and I was worried I wouldn't get any hens from it.
