Don't you just hate it when you go to a drive thru window and after paying at the first window (they got your money!) when you get to the service window, you're asked to pull up and wait...er, doesn't that cancel out the need to drive thru?
Happened to me today. In 103 degree heat, was asked to pull up and wait...i waited...and waited and waited. Let me encourage you all to make online contact if you're ever in a situation like mine today. Here's my story and what I sent to McDonald's corporate on their website today.

Comment: I drove through and ordered a southwest chicken salad grilled. After paying and arriving at the service window, I was asked to pull up and wait because the chicken wasn't ready. Grudgingly I pulled up. Lately everytime I've visited this restaurant I've been asked to pull up. There was one other customer pulled up and waiting before me. After I had waited for 10 minutes, the other customer got out of her vehicle visibly upset and went inside. As she was coming out with a full refund, and my time waiting was now 14 minutes, I went inside and asked them what was holding up the salad that I had been waiting so long for. Finally someone came around the counter and gave me my salad without so much as an apology. The next time I drive thru and am asked to pull up, I will exercise my right to refuse to do so.
