Hi All,

This is my first time trying to add photos to a message so here goes...

Here are some photos (thumbnails) of the mystery chick I received from McMurray. I am leaning towards a buff brahma. The reasons? He is a large chick, has feathered legs, and resembles the chicks in the video for that breed.

I guess Brahmas have stripes and Cochins don't? That's what I was getting from others on the Raising Chicks area. I didn't realize they had this area. I hope this one is a roo - the pictures I see of partridge cochin roosters are really beautiful birds!

Lots of breeds/colors have stripes as chicks. But cochins have a straight comb and brahmas have rose combs. Both big fluffy feather footed guys.
