So sorry about Milky :hugs I'm not judging at all, just wondering if there's a reason why you can't have your cats indoors where they would be safer?

Glad your Spitz are doing good still!
Thank you!
Well, I could, and it would probably be more responsible, but my kitties (especially of the milky family) are literally barn cats born and bred.
My neighbors poor un-spayed barn cat has a litter of kittens nearly every year! This is Milky, Chainsaw (RIP), Chester, and Hagan's mum. Their dad is probably a feral. The first weeks of the kittens lives are spent in a barn.
Whenever Milky was inside, unless she was sleeping peacefully on my bed or helping with the laundry, she was at the door meowing to get out.
Basil and Button are also inside, and the kitties would eat them.

Pumpkin (The Devil Cat)

Yesterday my bantam polish died. I came out the back door, turned to go down the stairs of the deck, and there she was laying by the walk. Perfectly fine looking except for some blood on her crest and, strangely, in her nostrils.
Only this year's pullet, too.
