True, but Olive Eggers were bred specifically for their olive-colored eggs. Their prices are outreagous for a "mutt" but it takes some time out of producing them ourselves. Thankfully, I found a local that doesn't charge half as much as what Meyer does.
it was brown. My second girl to lay was either of my all blue/grey one with beard and muffs the other clean faced both with feathered feet and pea combs
the pic shown is an olive egg which was laid by one of my blue/grey oe's. My black "oe" which her egg is not pictured lays a brown egg
