You're right, I'm poison-phobic for a good reason! Freshman year, my roomates and I lived in a rental house in a lousy neighborhood. One day I found our dogs outside playing with a dead rat. I threw it away and thought nothing of it, til the next day when both dogs started spewing blood from both ends.
Both gals came through it just fine, but poison is forbidden anywhere I live

I hate killing them too, cobrien, I had mice and rats always as a kid and they are very fondly remembered pets, but the wild thieves have to go!
I think I got almost all the mice, the body count is up to 11, and I've only heard one tiny scurry in the walls today. I must sound like I live in a shack
I don't, I promise! Where we are is so far out in the woods though, critters are inevitable.
