The doings will start at 10am but if you want to come at 9am for set up the help would be appreciated.

I did see both the Buff Orpington trio and the quilt and some person will be thrilled to be drawn for either. The intent is that when you sign in with Granny she will give each person a ticket. After lunch we will draw tickets until all of the donated items are exhausted.

I am getting so excited for this event. It is so funny, my daughter boyfriends grad party is the 12th. She told me his party was that day...I said sorry. I already have plans. She is like NO WAY... chickenstock... you have to be kidding me. but it does not start till 3pm. so I just said I would be a little late. lol.

Hi Everyone!!
Wanted to let you know to watch for some NEW EGGS!!
We have a local poultry meetup group in the Lansing area that will be joining us at Chickenstock.
The orginizer Rose has had some health issues so it has been hard for her to setup our monthly get togethers. I suggested they come to our BYC Chickenstock and they loved the idea.
Some of us are members of both group already. The Meetup group has been working on getting the local cities and county laws changed to have chickens.

We only have 12 more days until Chickenstock finally gets here. I know I am certainly looking forward to it. I will be posting a very loosely structured schedule for the events so that all of you can plan your day. Each member will be given a ticket for the drawing that we are going to hold immediately following lunch. Granny will be sitting just inside the pavillion with a signin sheet and will have the tickets. If anyone has anything they would like to donate to our drawing please let me know.

Checkout the link for the food so you can see what you'd like to add to our menu. Last year the food was incredible and I'll bet it will be again this year.
