Ugh that is awful! I'm glad you have family that can take in your birds. I hope everything can be worked out - I want to get more seramas from you in the years to come.We knew this day would eventually come. Didn't think it would be this soon. Have to get rid of all of my birds in two and a half weeks. Zoning people for our area stopped by and said we will have two weeks from when we get our notice in the mail. Right now, we are looking at different options before we start getting rid of any.![]()
The chicks I got from you at the spring Fowlfest are doing great. I ended up with 6 pullets and 4 cockerals, so I am pretty happy with that ratio. I found a good home for one pair, and will probably rehome one more pair to leave me with two trios. I was planning on keeping all the pullets, but I feel better about selling them in pairs. I am trying to only keep smooth roosters so I can hopefully get some frizzle pullets from you at chickenstock or the fall fowlfest in birch run. I hope everything goes smoothly with finding some land for your feathered family. One of these things is not like the others, one of these things does not belong... any guesses?
