Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I hope everyone that has power to their coop has a fire extinguisher handy.
I especially hope that you never have to use it.

I also have them at every door to my garage and house.
Call 911 in the event of ANY fire.

Probably the last 60°+ day so I got off my lazy butt and 'washed' the 3 coop windows that are top hinged to the outside. They were filthy with algae and lichen. Hauled out the step ladder, the long handled scrub brush, and the 1gal pressure sprayer. I won't say they're actually clean, but a lot more light is coming thru them now. Glad that's done.

Yup, a beautiful 60 degree day here too. No coop work done but I did get some firewood put up. I have at least 2 more days of getting this red oak processed and put up. There is even more down in the woods left to drag out.
Whenever I cut or split wood the chickens come running. They love the exposed ants/termites that can be found in the wood.

If you were my neighbor you'd get all sorts of treats!!

Normally every week I make a couple loaves of bread as well.
bread? Where is the bread? I love bread... No fruits on it just plain bread. OMG! I think I love you,...

I wonder if you can make Puertorican or cuban bread. I can't bake for anything in the world. Everything I try is not good or burns. I can roast in the oven and that is the extent of my oven culinary edition, lol
