OK...as hokey as this video is (my husband filmed for me) ...here is blowing out an egg using a Blas-fix. Really EASY.
I thought it was well done!
Yes... where does one get a squeezie thing?
I always poke 2 holes... top and bottom. Then BLOW... to think there is a much easier way!!!

While watching your video I found this!!

And I thought I was the only one who hears "wall-to-wall carpeting" and has six hissy fits of hate for the stuff. My whole family loves it "because it's soft." I can only think of the multitude of times various animals have been sick (both ends) on it, how much dog poop and dirt has been tracked through on shoes, and how many pounds of fur are woven into it. Washing it only cleans the surface. Urrrgh, yuck, blurgh.
Unfortunately we have negative dollars for home improvement and it's subflooring under the carpet. I'd love to get some floor or garage paint and live with painted subflooring, but the family is appalled at the idea.
you could get Dr. to write a prescription due to allergies, (health ins some time pays part) or spill oil, bleach accidentally of course and hoe ins may cover part,,,,real wood is the way to go, spills do not hurt it and if it gets to scuffed up just sand it down and re finish,,,,,LOVE my hard wood (and no we did not have an accident to get them)
I tell everyone I'm 73, then they all say, "Wow! You look great". Better than telling them I'm younger and having them snicker behind my back and say, "She's just falling apart".

(Happy 21st!)
love this idea, think I may use it

I've been living with the 100 year old subfloor for over a year now. I refuse to get anything unless it's what I really want and since I can't afford it, we live with it lol. This is what I want, vinyl planks; good for pets, kids, dirt, and spills and not too expensive unless you have 1800 sq ft to cover lol. http://www.homedepot.com/Flooring-V...splay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051

I could use a road trip though. Plus I LOVE Holland. My sister lived between Holland and Saugatuck (I was born in Douglas...yeah most people have never heard of it lol) where she had a huge ranch. It's where I got most of my experience with farm animals.
My mothers cousin had a blue berry farm in Saugatuck, we called her Aunt Cathleen, she sent us Blueberry jam in a cup or bowl with our name on it for Christmas, Thought it was the best thing eve

Had our first casualty to the heat today, went out to get eggs and found a dead hen in the run, she was very healthy this AM I was noticing how nice and red everyones combs look, she didn't even have any wear spots from the roo, no injury that we can see so I have to think it was the heat. You would have thought it would have been a meat bird, not my SLW? totally not expecting that. not one of the oldest birds either. she was 3
