Opa,
My mom had a great time. She was clueless. When we got to the Wharton Center, we passed the Grease sign who was playing what part and she made the comment: Grease is coming in March. It wasn't till we were waiting outside the door waiting to get in to our seats that she saw a table that had Grease t-shirts for sale. Then the light bulb went on and she got very excited.
The show was great. Danny was about the same size as Sandy...hard to get use to...I am use to John Travolta (sp?) big and masculine!
I shoveled the concrete last night and there was more than last night to shovel. Jon got the driveway plowed along with several neighbors. It surely is cold out there!
Rachel had one of her pullets dead when she went out to do chores. It had a messed up neck and leg for a few weeks. Surprised it lived this long. I am figuring that it flew into the wall.
Glad that you and your mom are getting a break from each other. Everyone needs that once in a while!
Keep warm everyone and brace yourself for the next storm coming soon!
We have a huge family Christmas party on Saturday with family coming from the north (Alpena) and the south (Virginia) so I hope the roads will be good. Expecting around 60-65 people. Almost 1/2 are kids age 14 and under...and one set of twins that will be into everything this year!
