mine laid all through winter without a change at all. different breeds do better with winter. and the change in the recent weather has not affected them either, but that doesn't mean yours would or would not be affected.
there are a ton of variables with chickens. i think you just need about eleventy more chickens!
if you heat the coop or light it and then stop that can mess with them.
all this being said, make sure to check all of them for mites. that will definitely mess up laying.
I do have a light in their hen house 24/7 and they have oyster shell all the time. I have switched them over to just cracked corn with treats every single day - just because I'm such a softy! The younger ones are about 6-7 months, and they are silkie mixes and banty mixes. I'm hoping they start producing in the next month.
