Hi SillyChicken, Ya might want to check with the Wash. Co. Sherriff's dept. They run a 'dog catcher' in this area. I see them ocassionally on the road in a pick-up truck. They used to be in Manchester. Also check with the Humane Society over in Superior Twsp. On Cherry Hill Rd. I'll put the word out about your dog. Best of Luck! IndyBlu; Jim

Got an Epidural today so Tweek took care of them and He is so in love with them.

Why do they "hunch down" when we go to pet them? Looks kinda like a hen getting ready to accept a Rooster! (but they keep on eating!

Awww SillyChicken I'm so sorry about your dog. He's absolutely gorgeous!!! I had one go missing last year, worst time for me!!!

Not much going on here with us. The roads were awful. We went out to get straw and they raised the price from $2.00 to $2.50 so we had to go back to town and get more money. Then we went to the co-op (since when is corn cheaper than scratch??) then to Meijer. When we came out of Meijer the snow was really coming down. When we got home (took us 40 mins instead of 15) I went to check on the chickens. Two of the frizzles were outside just standing there. Actually, they looked like snow chickens instead of snowmen it was kinda funny. But they didn't wanna go inside! Ugh they are stubborn. They have never gone outside on their own til the last few days!

Just a few weeks til surgery and I have SO much to do. I'm trying to sell some stuff so I'd have money for some comfortable clothes to be in while I recover. I also wanna gather up as much yarn as I can so I can have some crochet projects during that time as well! I've had 45 surgeries, you'd think I'd have this routine down by now

That's exactly what it is. They squat to accept you as dominate. They usually start it right around the time they start laying so people look for that as a sign. And you are so very welcome. I am so glad you and Tweek are enjoying them. Hope you're feeling well today.

My DH is pretty good with that sort of think, when you post picks I will show them to him.
Dawn

Thanks, Dawn. I'll get my camera charged up today and snap a couple. I've pretty much got everything except for those two boxes figured out.

Last night when we were bringing the incubator in the house I had one end, was sliding it out of the truck, and DH was going to get the other end. Well I got it right to the edge of the tailgate, could feel him fumbling around on the other end, asked if he was ready and I thought he said "yes". Apparently, however, he did not. So I pulled it a little further and one side slipped off the end of the tailgate and the whole, enormous, heavy thing started to tip. I caught it, but OH-EM-GEE, I woke up this morning and from the center of my back, all the way up to my shoulder, just inside my shoulder blade on that side is just one big, shooting pain. This thing better be worth it. I'm thinking the icy-hot is going to find a permanent home on my desk for today.
