Last report I saw for us was 6" snow and sleet mixed. Made some snow ice cream for the grandkids, but they didn't like the grainy texture. Told them that was the kind of ice cream we had when I was their age. DGS looked like I'd taken leave of my senses. Asked me, "Do you really like this?" LOL

We have several inches already.. The weather man just said we will probably have 10 inches by morning.. I can't wait until morning. Let the sledding begin! I may be 36, but who cares... This kid is coming out to play!!!

4 inches of snow at 5am. It's still cooming down. Expecting freezing rain and sleet later. Going back under the covers now.

for a day off tomorrow

We'll see....Our forcast is completely different depending on who you listen to....One news station says 0-3 inches of snow before the sleet/freezing rain starts tomorrow, another says 2-5......national weather service says only a total of less than 1/2 an inch of snow AND sleet/freezing rain. I'll just wait and see.....My thoughts.....sleet/freezing rain with lots of back roads = a day to stay in a warm bed until after the sun comes up

Any NC folks can give us a heads up on what happens down that way?

My house is actually only 30 miles from the line...

well im just irritated.. all we got was ice ice baby! It was so much that it looked like snow this morning, but no snow man for us, cant even scrape it off the patio table

Oh well, everybody got a snow day anyway. Think I might go back to bed!

We've got 4-5 inches here and it's still snowing...I'm out of Layer pellets and my chick starter is gone...Maybe I should have prepared a little better?

near memphis here... we got 4 in of fluffy white beautiful snow... ice drizzle predicted for this evening.

my southern bird girls would NOT come out of the coop...they are still in there and refuse to step out even after i shoveled for them. they demanded their food/water inside their coop today.

silly birds! they do have me wrapped around their toes!
