Mille Cochin Info

Okay, here is an example of much better wing carriage. This is a very nice lady. She is a big girl for her age, just 4 months. I like her type. She is out of Dude, who was colored just like she is. Her mom was one of my buff Mottled girls. I expect her to give me quality offspring next year with the right roo.

She is very nice. I bet you will get nice chicks from her!

If I get as lovely of babies as what Nancy is getting from Inky I will be very happy. And I am sure I will. I just want to improve that wing carriage and she has been good from the start.

I cannot see the pictures of the dark poulet well but it seems to me I have seen some pictures of a poulet very similar to her that someone hatched from your eggs. She is very pretty. I like that MF cockerel you are keeping he is very nice. He looks like he has a nice body. And nice eyes and good coloring.

If bred to the cockerel I suspect you would get some good wings? I read that too about exercising their wings. I think that was on one of the silkie threads but I can't remember which one. I hadnever heard that before either.

eta: I do know that I have these modern games that run whereever they want and their bodies are so toned and healthy looking compared to a friend of mine who has the same lines but keeps them in a small run. My moderns are fairly wild and eat grasshopers and frolick in the fields.

The mottled girl, Tuba, is actually mille fleur. I'm pretty sure she is out of Nancy's Ruby Rod and Inky. Sunshine Roo is as well if I remember right. He is in this pose as it is freezing out but they aren't smart enough to go in the coop but now I've got them locked up and it's starting to snow.
