Mille Cochin Info

Mine do that too. Goofy birds. yeah tuba is beautiful. Ilike both the roos. You hatched eggs from Nancy?
These birds have traveled around! LOL Ruby Rod and Inky came from me and Nancy hatched the eggs out and sold some youngsters and they wound up with Mike. It is nice to see how beautiful the birds turn out several generations down the road.

Beautiful pictures Mike

Sunshine Roo is out of Inky and Ruby Rod. Tuba I'm sure is out of Inky, and I'm 90% sure she's by Ruby Rod, although I did have Brandon by that time. Ruby was pretty jealous of his women though. Tuba is F3 Mottled/MF......... and getting even more beautiful then I thought she'd be!

Well... I know I said I was done hatching for the year....... but my young Splash Silkies have started laying and I have to hatch their eggs. My MF pullets are laying pretty good now too, so as long as I've got the incubator running........

LOL, way to go, Nancy! Hatch away! It will make your winter a bit more bearable!

I have slowed way down. I went from 300 eggs in the bator down to setting barely a dz a week. I need to sell off some of my others first before I fill the brooders back up. I hope to wait until March to start back very much.
So many projects, so little time!

I bet it is very nice to see your birds at other's homes where they are happy and healthy. :D And to be able to see how they progress. I am not a big fan of hatching shipped eggs the results can be so variable. I have one MF hen that I hatched from ~onthespot ~eggs a few years ago. I had a nbunch of MFCs and then either sold or gave them away. Now I want more! :/

Here is a little pullet that I adore. She reminds me a lot of Mike's Tuba. However, this little one has obvious red leakage. Mike's girl should acquire some later.
I am excited about this lady because of her white tipping. She has great type but again, I could wish for better wing carriage.

I do enjoy seeing what others are able to achieve with the birds or hatched eggs that come from me. Everyone seems to take very good care of their birds and it makes me feel good to know they are well cared for, no matter where they come from!

I am sure you are anxious to get more beauties again.
