Sadly, our lil girl did not make it. She passed this afternoon. We had an Olive Egger housed in a different coop who had the same symptoms and passed this morning. I dropped the Olive Egger off at the State lab for necropsy at noon, at least I'll know what happened, and if it was something contagious. I'm heart broken over that lil white girl, (not really white, but predominantly white) she was one of Nancy's line.

WOW! that would be a really hard call. You have Max and Rafael growing up from the milles right? I wish Rafael was a little more developed as that might help you in your decision.

I am positive I will be hatching from Max and another MF cockerel I have- Nigus next year. Both are showing great type for there ages. Rafael I'm growing out to see but the people wanting him want him NOW! I just want to know what a good price for him would be. I'm only still debating his sale though.

While rearranging birds today, I discovered something fantastic! I have TWO cockerels growing out with breast flowers! They are calico (Junior x one of the hens from Katelyn w/ breast flowers), but I will replace Junior with one of them as long as they have decent type. If not... Darn.
