Day 8 today. I'm seeing two clear blood rings and a couple clears so I'm going to remove them.

Ha, just kidding. It's day 7. Not removing any until day 10.

I'm actually really sad about one egg- there's a GIANT blood ring in an egg that was developing.

2 eggs for sure developing now.

Final countdown! Just removed all the dead eggs. 3 blood rings, one quitter, rest infertile. Day 11!

Temp/humidity is off because I had just put the lid back on.

Here is the setup! I made my own Mama Heating Pad with an aluminum sheet from Home Depot, a heating pad from Target, an old bath towel, and some safety pins. I'm going to add cardboard on top soon.

The babies visited the first grade today! The grey "potato" is a rice bag. They had their brooder, heat lamp, feed, and water all day.
