When I brought my Mille Fluer home I noticed that its tail is really crooked to one side. It is so crooked that the bird has trouble walking around. It does not seem to be in any pain and I thought that the situation might correct itself but it hasn't. Is this something that is fixable by me? Should I be worried about?

Thanks,
Logan G

A tail "crooked to the side" sounds like a wry tail to me but a picture would tell for sure. A wry tail is not a point deduction in a show, it's a disqualification. If you're interested in showing or even in producing good birds cull the bird from your breeding program.

Crocked tail is just a fault in chickens, like wry tail. Just means he/she will get a deduction in the show rink.
