Mini pellets to regular pellet

Will changing from a mini pellet to regular be a problem? I'm having to switch feeds because the last 2 bags I have gotten is infested with weavels(sp) so I'm going to swap over to either Purina All flock or Nutrena next week from TSC and they only come in full size pellets it appears... I've tried to let the co-op know but they don't seem to give a flip so I'll be moving on from the Tucker feed. TIA

Only bigguns....

Bigguns can handle them just fine.
They resist change so may not like them at first.

Purina All flock or Nutrena next week from

The Purina flock raiser should be available to you in crumble but you said your birds were full size so any pellet should be fine. Nutritionally Purina has the edge, but Nutrena is good also. Look at price per pound and freshness to decide which.

Interesting. I feed Purina FR crumble as primary feed and Nutrena AF pellet as a treat or as stop gap till I get more FR. I have not noticed mine to prefer one over the other.

They may like it soaked. My little princesses stopped their pellet strike once I started soaking the feed.
