Lol! I sold my lavenders for $10 each 3 years ago. They aren't worth $34 each, unless they were pure English imports. I'd jump on that price.

Is anyone aware of a functioning poultry keepers club in the Duluth/Superior area or near proximity ?
Yes I went. The prices were nice and high for a change. We all like getting a good deal buy not if the seller has to give them away. Not sure if they will have it this fall.Who all went to the Pierz show? I had thought about going but it just didn't work out. Curious how it went and what the turnout was like if I decide to go when they have another event.
I can understand your not wanting to get into the Facebook trend, but it IS the place where a lot of discussions about poultry are happening. I belong to a few poultry groups, so breed based and others regionally centered, and that is my primary purpose for going on, to network about poultry. Just a thought. I am not sure how many local poultry club exist in our state.I am aware of the Duluth Chicken Club on Face Book. That perhaps is a good venue for some, but I am not into FB and would like to associate with a group that has serious breeders with common interests even though they may work with various breeds.
