Minnesota!

I would live to lock those people in a room and not feed them. That's terrible! I think if you need any help with complaints there's plenty of people here on Byc that would call the sherriffs office and pester them until something gets done. This is abuse.

Anyone have chickens in St. Francis with less than 5 acres? I think you have to have 5 acres to be allowed to have chickens, but if we decide to move there I think we'd want to have chickens anyway...

Thanks Bogtown,
I used to own many horse's and one was a very old horse. He was 30 yrs old and a hard keeper. It didnt matter to me and he got special feed. He was a very miss treated horse until I got him. I had him for 3 years until he colecd read l bad and I had to put him down. My 1st one was also abused. I had him for 5 yrs then sold him to a young girl who he connected with. In fact he connected with the whole family. I have had 4 other's and I sold my last one when I had to stop working. But I made sure they all went to wonder full homes. These just made me very mad. I wanted to keep them here to feed them and made sure they seen a vet. The police said I couldn't. But he will keep a close eye on them.

Anyone have any blue/green egg layers or pullets or know where to find some? I don't care about breed or mix (she would be a pet), just want some blue/green eggs. I have way too many roosters as is, so no straight run chicks please. Would also like a dark brown layer as well.

I have a good variety of EEs and Welsummers, but only in chicks. If you don't find what you need you can check back a little later as some of the holdbacks grow out.

Minnie's EEs are beautiful. I have a blue and gold hen from her that lays the prettiest light green eggs. Great beard and neck tufts too.

I wish to apologize to everyone if I offended anyone with the pictures and the use of animal rights group's. I broke BYC's rules about posts. We did find the way they came to us. They broke through the fence, we found a lot of horse hair. Dad called the sheriff's office and made a report for them to fix the fencing and theirs as well. I guess this has happened before with their stallion charging dad to get to our mares. That I didn't know. This morning a trailer came and I guess rescued all three horses. I'm not sure if they took the cattle too. But it has now been taken care of and they can now get what they need food, medical wise too.
