Minnesota!

Lol. Just my luck!! I bought a roo from someone over by lake park not to long ago. Now I think my two Easter eggers are Roos. Lol. I will try to get some pics posted later today. The roo I bought is a welsummer buff brahma cross. They are all still pretty young. I love chickens. All of mine free range during the day and are locked up at night. I had Guineas years ago and never had a problem. This time though I can tell you I am on my last leg. They are so mean to the chickens and even the ducks. And they never shut up. Lol.

I have set up a prison for my bad guineas. It has one inmate now. She is on death row. She has volunteered to try out my whizbang plucker if I ever get it done. She could have a long life in prison.

Holm, I am not mean to you! I am helping you build character! BTW I feel for you, I hate needles!

the deluge of pullet eggs has begun! my 20 19-week old pullets are starting to pop them out like crazy. i had 6 before 10 o'clock

Now a questions for fellow egg-sellers.... do i mix the pullet eggs with the full size ones and sell them like regular or should i just make up whole cartons of pullet eggs and sell them for a discount?

very very few of my regular buyers know a thing about chickens so they may be put off by the small eggs among the jumbos they usually get.
