That was one of the Meth Boys, I cannot really tell the apart. You will see them tomorrow, they are nice birds and getting huge. They want to be friendly, but I am trying to not get too attached to them after all they are just food.
I suggest you try trickery. Trickery is the foundation of a strong marriage. Buy a few thousand cockroaches and release them in your current house. If she has them exterminated, buy and release more. At some point she will get tired of them and say, she cannot seem to beat the cockroaches and maybe you should just buy a new place.
Easy as pie!
Take it back to Menards, they will give you an in store credit without a receipt as long as they still sell the product.
Wow, what a day! how did you have enough time for all that? running around like this?its my turn to whine about only 3 posts! sat down with a glass of wine and .....only 3!!!
I'm beat. worked on the quail pen - simple design but really hard to screw in frame when nothing to hold it. Had to go to town for a couple 2x4's. I'm stymied by the door...so still have work to do.
Dug up a lilac bush that was overtaking the doorway, and dug a new hole and planted it.
Took out the pen in the coop for Ralphie's creamer roo, and put it outside on a frame for Petunia, who is broody.
Dug up a big garlic bed, planted armenian and chesnok, and a little german. I was disappointed in the german, the cloves were way too small for planting. THe chickens helped me, until I realized they were really trying to distract me while the rest of the flock munched on the brussel sprouts.
Dug up the sweet potatoes. First time I've ever tried them, and they were small. A first I thought I didn't get any, but then I realized they go really deep, much deeper than potatoes.
Did laundry and hung it out.
Mowed a couple of acres.
Caught grasshoppers for the quails. My chickens are disappointed, I used to catch hoppers for them.
I miss being younger. I'm wiped out and I used to be able to do this and then head out for the evening. Now I'm headed for a hot bath and bed!
Me too!waiting on camp day reports.![]()
They are all together in one barn, but the chickens are in a section of the barn that is fenced off. I have African geese and I have heard their knobs can freeze, so shouldn't I have a heat lamp for them? And are mallards just as hardy as domestics?
I can understand the equipment ... But the bar stool has me buffaloed for somebody who likes red so much!!!!!Trying to post these pics from my iPhone hope they turn out ok... Well let's start with the OOPPSS your busted pics ... LOL..

sounds like you had a busy day also,,,making more tired reading it... sounds like its time for you to relax also....maybe next time we will see you at camp...I for sure will go again if invited...Coffee 1st so fun to hear the first camp day report come in.
Weird. I typed a big long summary of my day and I don't see hide nor hair of it.
I woke for 1/2 hour this am at 5:00 to see the boys off with our baby yellow lab. Told them to go easy on her and I guess she did fabulous. DH would have to go in the river with her at first but then she'd see the duck and get it the rest of the way . Some hunters just down a ways set up near by and don't you know they were calling their dog 'Sadie' ! DH said he had to call ours a couple times back. She was a little confused obviously.
Boys got back with Sadie Mae. Made brunch.
Mowed lawn backwards so I could rake up lines of grass and leaves for the run.
Hung laundry on the line
Dad came over with vegetables from his garden. Had beers with him and watched chicken tv. He left. I finished raking yard. Spent time down at the Time Machine watching chickens. Rearranging hay bales.
Cleaned pots off the deck ( tomatoes and flowers) cleaned some weeds out of landscaping rocks.
DH took kids out fishing sunfish.
Made hamburger and rice soup.
Made peanut butter cookies.
Cut bars of soap from a batch last night.
Made mikes hard lemonade and peach smoothie. Drinking that now and waiting for more camp reports.
