I agree. My Cuckoo Marans looked just like this, pink with a little black in the legs. All mine had combs at this age which turned pink but not red. They are 12wks now, they did have some bright barring for a few weeks but now their barring gives them a grey look, they have turned dull colored compared to my other breeds. Mine have kept the small combs, they are turning red now but almost no woddles. I have one that shot up in size but still looks like a hen. There can be a runt in the group. I had one chick from the 12wk group that took for ever to feather out all the way & still it looks smaller more compact type bird but when it finally did feather out it was like over night. Was a SLW so different breed. My Cuckoo Marans around the 6wk age shot up in size, they are the biggest birds I have out all of them.
