Mite infestation in coop?

@Texas Kiki @cmom they are very intrigued with all the changes. I just got one egg.
They have all been dust bathed and just put some bedding in the boxes

I had some birds that were so infested, that was why I bathed them. I bathe my birds before taking them to a show and they actually don't mind it and relax in the water. Someone on BYC recommended a permethrin bath. I'll have to do some research on it. At the time I used flea shampoo which did help some but didn't get rid of them completely.

Thanks for your time and responses
Can I apply the poultry dust in the coop and nesting boxes too
I’m seeing mites everywhere trying to escape
Will the eventually die off?
I sprayed inside, outside, all around the nest boxes and on and under the roosts, every crack and crevice where the mites can hide. Some of my birds looked terrible at the time but it was the season for molting too. Now they are beautiful again. I'm doing preventative spraying now since I have seen some wild birds especially in one coop trying to build nests in the nest boxes. I did put some dust in those nest boxes. So far I haven't seen anything on my birds.

@cmom @Texas Kiki now that I’ve finished and the coop has dried out, I applied the dust everywhere and now I’m seeing loads of mites. The are hopefully dead and dropping fro the creases and crevices
It’s been about 2 hours since I sprayed the solution.
I can’t believe my coop was this infested :barnieWhat are your thoughts? It’s this a bad sight? Are they dead??

I sprayed everywhere over 1 gallon outside/inside/ nesting boxes... seriously everywhere. I definitely don’t have wild bird getting into their coop, but we have crows that like to hang around the run.
