"momma chicken" is my favorite.

What is she? She has lacing similar to my silkie mix. Never figured out who the dad was, but I thought possibly a black sex link, just by the lacing.

Okay, I said I would post pics, so this is Olive, the first out, my only Olive Egger. I have 8 so far with 3 to go. Guess what ? When you breed a black orp roo with buff hens you get some pretty reddish brown chicks. So I've got Orps, Marans, and my one olive egger. I'll post more pics when they all fluff up.

My EE/BR mixes. The dad is barred rock, the moms are two different EE moms. They are new hatches.

The one I took out of the shell 1/2 shrinked wrapped yesterday. It is healing from leg and foot issues. I hope this one pulls through.

I'll take more as they grow up. These chicks are feisty. Even the one I took out of the shell 3 days after and being 1/2 shrinked wrapped. I'm so relieved it has a chance at life.

I finally moved my Cochin mixed chicks out to the coop today. They are definately going to be big! I am really liking how the Cochin X TetraTint looks, really hoping it is a girl.
