He's an update on my little cockerels:

Frankie is more beautiful every day! He's still super friendly and starting to get protective of his two d'uccle half-sisters. Makes me wish I could keep him. But i did find him a home! It's all the way in Sonora, 150 miles away, but I'm crazy about this little guy and agreed to drive him all the way there!

Katsu is destined for the freezer. He is no longer the friendly little man he was. He has started biting and is pushy and mean when I bring out treats. I am disappointed, but at least I don't have to spend energy rehoming him.

Bittie is still sweet and calm and quirky. He's getting more adult feathers in and his comb and wattles are growing. I'm still hoping that someone else will appreciate his idiosyncratic charm and give him a home.

Definitely still thinking you've got a cute lil' roo there. Upright posture, tiny tail feathers, comb is coming in big for a 4 week old.

Oh yes I agree with you on the rooster. We don't have room for another rooster so we will be giving him away in a few weeks once we know 100% he's a rooster

Lucky, now 5 weeks! look at that comb! Still thinking rooster (: only time will tell t hough. His fathere crowed at 7 weeks so if he takes after him we should know soon.

Lucky has been with the new chicks for few days now. I think since Thursday. They all get alone (: they are now 2 weeks and he is 6 weeks.

This picture was taken the first day when we had the divide up, but after a day we removed it (:

nankin/ seabright cross just hatched? Looks to be blue??? Did this on purpose for experiment? How could blue come from buff and black and gold? I know seabrights were developed with nankins?
