I think your local feeder store(e.g. TSC) will sell baby chicks during late spring or early summer? Just check with them when you visit them next time.

Welcome to BYC! Our local TSC will take special orders for people! So for example, minimum is 20, you want 3, Joe wants 5, Sally wants 10, then TSC tops it off with 2 to sell in store. Could ask if they would be willing to do that during chick days!
