So this is Bunty my Buff Orpington hen. I've had a few people tell me Bunty may be a roo because of the tail feathers, and larger feet. I've also noticed her vent is tiny in comparison to the other ladies, like the size of a finger tip.

Any thoughts?? I don't mind either way but I'm really not sure, she looks so different to Clementine my other buff!

And this is clementine in comparison -

(Clementine is a little bit older, so I know they're at different stages, Bunty is about 6 months old)

What do you guys think?

I see what might be saddle feathers on Bunty, but I can't tell for sure. If she is a roo, she/he would be crowing by now. Could you please post a picture of Bunty's saddle so that we can tell for sure?

@mgbantams here is a better picture of Bunty :)

Thanks for all of the replies! I did think she'd be crowing by now if she was a he, but I also read that Orpington's can be late bloomers haha

I see saddle feathers and pointed hackle feathers but everyone else said she was a pullet lol. It looks like a cockerel to me..
