MJ's little flock

Replacement car

I'm buying a car today! After weeks of using borrowed cars it will be very nice to have my own wheels again.

By coincidence, it's one of those that can fit "... a coupla chickens" in the boot :) it's got some problems, so the chap took $700 less than he was asking. But the problems are nothing a thorough service can't fix. And the tyres are balder than Bruce Willis, so I'm taking it from the seller straight to the tyre shop.

The seller is a cop. Does it seem odd that a cop would drive around on such bald tyres? :idunno
Yikes! Though we were driving round with the wire showing on the island car many, many moons ago. And given the horror smashes that have been headlining lately ~ very odd indeed. Maybe he wasn't driving it...:hmm

Oh, & Congratulations! :)

Sandy is not ok this morning

She was tip top last night but today she's puffed up, lethargic, and there seems to be yolk coming out of her.

I've got professional commitments most of the day, so I'm hoping for an appointment with the bird vet between 11.30-1.30 :fl otherwise it will have to be 6pm and I don't know if she can hold on that long.

Oh no!!! :hugs I hate when stuff goes catawumpus! Prayers for your girl.

I've just senn that a broken egg inside is a crisis, so i really hope the bird vet can fit her in.
Yes. Why I freaked about Lottie but she seems fine there appears to have been no shell. Sandy is a standard layer though... :( Really hope the vet can fit her in. Did you say it was an emergency?
