MJ's little flock

That is an intriguing tea cup there. 🥰
It was designed by Tord Boontje and I bought it from GOMA up in Brissy when we all trooped up there for a cousin's wedding. It's the Phoenix teacup seen from an angle that doesn't show the phoenix. The koi Ribh saw is actually a hare and there are other symbols of the forest on it. I like using it when life has been harsh (Mel's long struggle against GBM, her death and funeral have been on my mind) because it reminds me to rise out of the ashes of sadness and fly into life again.

Peggy could be nicer. Then she wouldn't be held. It's her choice to be mean.
I'm pretty sure she doesn't do rationality the same way we do. Assuming her actions are an indicator, her thinking is highly responsive to her environment. Much, much more so than mine is.

Great log you have there. Is that from the fallen tree?
Not those ones, no. Those ones are from the stash of wood Dad left behind. I used some of his logs for firewood before I had hens. But several remain and now do some good in the funrun.

Most of the logs from the fallen tree are still waiting for someone to help me lift them. They're quite heavy.
