Here's today's breakfast, in case anyone wants to count the apples in the bowl (I'm looking at you Ribh There's one apple left and I'm getting more later on )

We've started a new roosting routine. Mary started showing stress and fear of Peggy at roosting time. Peggy can reach down and peck her you see. So I've started holding Peggy while Mary hops up and gets settled. Mary has caught on to the new routine and hops up licketty split! Last night it took her about ten seconds to jump up once I had Peggy in hand. Peggy hates me for it but that's her bad luck.

And Ivy dug a huge hole this morning! I took a photo and cropped it but the phone doesn't allow me to upload cropped photos any more (such a weird fault). So here's the full picture.

That is very lovely, MJ! I love the koi on the teacup! And there's my sweet little milk jug! Yes, I always check your apples. It all looks nice & relaxing; just right for a Saturday morning.
