There was rather a racket being made by the hens so I took a look and found Queen Mary was up off her throne and taking refreshments

Here she is.

And her eggs have been moved around since the last photo.

Mary chose her moment well. The Pegasaurus is laying her egg and can't get up to harrass her.

No, first go this season. The last two nights she’s settled down in the nest box, and DH and I have relocated her back to the roost. She’s up and about in the morning; the only inkling at the moment is the non-roosting.

Glynda and Lady Featherington did this. Just picture the size difference! And Glynda won! Jabberwocky and Hattie did it as well. This is very normal.

I remember Bessie and Charlie chest-bumping and was quite surprised by it, but I wasn’t used to pecking orders at that stage, never having seen any of my ISAs try and establish one.
