MJ's little flock

She was out of that basket in a flash. So good to see her back home again. 🥰
Yeh! You'd think she hadn't moved her limbs for days, but it turns out the vet staff were letting her roam around the whole of the hospital area once she was off her IV. They said she's been supervising! That's about 40 square metres. It's a surprisingly huge building for a vet practice. But there was nowhere to scratch or dust bathe. So it feel far short of ideal for a chicken.

Well, Katie had quite a good day with lots of foraging around the back yard with Edie and Christa. I decided to separate the flock so Katie wouldn't have to deal with too much hostility at once.

It was a rainy day with lots of puddles to sip from. Her poops were quite loose again. So I'm continuing to feel worried about her. But often chickens do get runny poops on rainy days so I'm hopeful of a better showing tomorrow.
