Edie's imaging results show a generalised intracoelomic increase in soft tissue. This is particularly prominant dorsal and caudal to her ventriculus (stomach) which is the location of the reproductive organs. This suggests that she likely has a reproductive tract disease which could be a tumour or a uterine impaction. There are other possibilities but this is the most likely. We have two options from here:1) Referral for CT and specialist ultrasond to get a better diagnosis.2) Go straight to an exploratory coeliotomy surgery to get an exact diagnosis and possibly treat pathology while we are there.So she's going to have an exploratory coeliotomy on Jan 2 and will be on meloxicam and amoxyclav until then, which I'll pick up tomorrow.
