MJ's little flock

My! haven't they filled out beautifully?
😍
They're big girls now!

Although Peggy was almost a big girl in that photo. Her first egg was laid February 7, about two weeks after arriving.

I'm so pleased Peggy's bad feather plucking and eating habit has been forgotten.

Not to tempt fate, but it's been weeks since Ivy hopped the fence too.

Although now I've written it in a public post, I expect her to hop the fence later today, haha!
She looks like she's getting too heavy to do much more fence hopping. :) She is one big beautiful girl!

I little blood is quite common with recent layers. It should stop quickly so keep an eye on her.
She laid her second egg early this morning and there was no blood on it. Hopefully she won't have to bleed in future.
