MJ's little flock

This is Tap. She has just lived up to her name and tapped me on my leg after walnuts.
I didn't have any in my pocket and told her as much.

I couldn't help detect an element of disbelief in this look. Shortly after she goes outside the door and shouts the house down for Treacle.

Treacle poor chap arrives to find out what all the fuss is about. This is Tap telling Treacle to tell me to give her some walnuts.

Treacle is the IFLC rep, right?

MJ, this is only just showing for me now but I'm so happy Janet is doing better. Hope the early rising is not too awful.
I like to complain about early starts but deep down I like being the only one awake :) it's so peaceful. The new approach of sneaking the enzyme mash into the henhouse worked well. Peggy was the only one down from the roost so she had the mash to herself for a while. Not that she ate much of it, she's in the habit of racing out the door and foraging for breakfast, but she took a few mouthfuls before it got too cold for me to be outside. I assume she's had even more by now.

I've tried but I can't work out what IFLC is.
The International Feathered Labourers C. I forget what the C stands for. The pretend chicken union @RoyalChick invented on ByBob's thread - I was doing a little cross-thread humour. I really shouldn't try to make jokes, it's almost always a fizzer.

I am very glad to here that she is doing better.

It's no problem if the others eat it too. It's not going to harm them. The antibiotic should have no effect on the enzymes as well. There is nothing to worry about there. You are fine with what you are doing.

It's tough being a farmer and waking before the sun just to feed the animals, isn't it! It was no fun being Farmer Bob when the newbies came to live with us. 🌞
Thanks Bob! I was thinking maybe enzymes are biotics, but it's good to know the medications work together. I appreciate your expertise!

The C is for Chicken ;)
